DispatchR Base Ops Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

1. Who we are and what this app is

DispatchR Base Ops (“the App”) is the office app of the DispatchR system, published by Echad Software, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). A trade or service business (“the Business”) runs it on its own Mac or iPad to manage customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, inventory, technicians, scheduling, and payments, and to see technician locations on a map. Its technicians use our companion app, DispatchD.

The App has no account system operated by us, and we operate no server that stores your records. All records are stored in Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) under the Apple ID signed in on the device, and locally on the device. The Business is the controller of the customer information in the App. Echad Software, LLC does not have access to that information.

2. Information in the app

a) Business and customer records entered or generated in the App

  • Customer contact details: name, service and billing address, phone, email, and notes.
  • Jobs, estimates, and invoices: descriptions, line items, prices, taxes, scheduling, status, and notes.
  • Equipment records associated with a service address: type, manufacturer, model and serial number, year, capacity, refrigerant, electrical ratings, and location on the property.
  • Inventory items and stock levels.
  • Photos, documents, and voice notes attached to jobs and customers, including service reports technicians create in DispatchD.
  • Technician profiles: name, employee identifier, phone, email, and PIN-lock status. Technician location (latitude, longitude, timestamp) is received from DispatchD through iCloud when a technician has turned on location sharing, and is shown on the technician map.
  • Payment records: amounts, tips, taxes, payment method, the processor’s transaction identifiers, and receipt and payment links. The App does NOT store full card numbers, card security codes, or bank account numbers (see Section 4).
  • Company settings: business name, address, phone, email, tax rate, report color, and a company logo image you choose.

b) Connected-account credentials

  • To take payments and send invoices, the Business connects its own merchant accounts for Square and, if enabled, Stripe and PayPal, using each provider’s sign-in. The resulting access and refresh tokens are stored in the device keychain, marked non-syncing, and are never written to iCloud or sent to us.
  • When the Business provisions a technician’s device to take card payments, the App sends the Business’s Square credentials to that device in person, over a direct, end-to-end encrypted connection between the two devices (Wi-Fi or Bluetooth), after the person at the office confirms a 6-digit code. The credentials go only to that device, which stores them in its keychain. They do not pass through iCloud or through us.

c) Local technical data

  • App preferences and small local state kept in standard system storage.
  • Files you export (see Section 6) are written only to the location you choose.
  • The App contains no third-party advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

We do NOT collect: advertising identifiers, contacts, browsing history, or health, fitness, or biometric data.

3. How the information is used

Information in the App is used only to run the Business’s operations: managing customers and documents, tracking inventory and equipment, scheduling and dispatching technicians, sharing the business with the Business’s technicians, displaying technician locations to the Business, taking and reconciling payments, and generating invoices, estimates, and exports. We do not use this information for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.

4. Payment processing

Payments and invoicing are handled by third-party processors connected to the Business’s own merchant accounts: Square and, where enabled by the Business, Stripe and PayPal. When the Business creates a payment link, the App sends the processor the amount, a description, and the customer’s email and phone number if the Business has them, so the processor can show and deliver its payment page. Card and bank data is captured by the processor’s own systems. Echad Software, LLC and the App never receive full card numbers or security codes. The App stores only the processor’s identifiers, amounts, and receipt and payment links needed to reconcile a payment with a job. Invoices may include a QR code or button that opens the processor’s payment page.

Square authorization relay: to keep our application’s secret key out of the distributed apps, Square sign-in and the renewal of Square access are relayed through a small service operated by Echad Software, LLC and hosted by Cloudflare. The relay passes each request to Square and returns Square’s response unchanged. It does not store Square tokens, customer data, or transaction data.

Processor privacy policies:

5. Device permissions

  • Calendar: with your permission, the App reads and writes events in the calendars you select, to schedule jobs. Optional.
  • Location: with your permission, the App uses your approximate location to center maps. The technician map itself shows locations technicians choose to share from DispatchD, not this device’s location. Optional.
  • Photo Library: to attach photos to jobs and to choose a company logo. Optional.
  • Microphone: to record voice notes for jobs. Optional.
  • Local Network: to find a technician’s device nearby and send it Square credentials in person (Section 2b). Optional.
  • Network access: to sync with iCloud, to reach the payment processors you connect, and to reach the Square authorization relay (Section 4).

Each permission is requested only when first needed and can be changed in your device’s Settings > Privacy & Security. Denying a permission turns off the related feature but otherwise leaves the App usable.

6. Data exports

The App can export accounting files (OFX) and inventory reports (CSV). These files are created on your device and saved only where you choose. Once exported, their handling is up to you and any software you open them with.

7. Where data is stored, and who can access it

Records are stored in Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) database associated with the Apple ID on the device, and locally on the device. Apple processes and stores iCloud data as an infrastructure provider under Apple’s Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

Access is limited to the Business’s devices signed in to that Apple ID and to the technicians the Business invites. Invited technicians receive the business’s records through Apple’s iCloud sharing, on their own Apple ID, until the Business removes them or stops sharing. Echad Software, LLC operates no server that receives or stores your records and cannot see them.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. Information is disclosed only:

  • to the technicians the Business invites, through Apple’s iCloud sharing (Section 7);
  • to the payment processor the Business selected, to complete payments and invoicing the Business starts (Section 4);
  • to Apple, as the iCloud storage provider (Section 7);
  • if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, or property, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the information.

9. Data retention and deletion

Records remain until the Business deletes them or removes the App and its iCloud data:

  • Delete individual customers, jobs, equipment, inventory, files, or payment records inside the App.
  • Disconnect a payment provider in Settings to remove its stored tokens from the keychain.
  • Stop sharing with technicians in Settings > Technicians > Manage Access.
  • Delete the App and, in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage, delete the App’s iCloud data to remove everything.

If you are a customer of a Business that uses DispatchR Base Ops and want your information corrected or deleted, contact that Business, which controls the record. You may also contact us at support@echadsoftware.com and we will help route the request.

10. Security

Data in transit to iCloud, to payment processors, and to the Square authorization relay is encrypted. Credentials sent to a technician’s device are end-to-end encrypted. iCloud data is stored under Apple’s security controls, and connected-account credentials are stored in the device keychain. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we and our providers use measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

11. Children

DispatchR Base Ops is a business tool, is not directed to children, is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port personal information about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. For records inside the App, the Business that operates it is the controller; direct requests to that Business. You may also contact us at support@echadsoftware.com and we will assist. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

13. International users

The App relies on Apple’s iCloud infrastructure, which may store and process data in the United States and other countries where Apple operates. By using the App you understand that data may be processed in those locations.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change and, for material changes, we will give notice through the App or its App Store listing. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.

DispatchD Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026 (DispatchD was previously called DispatchR Remote.)

1. Who we are and what this app is

DispatchD (“the App”) is the technician app of the DispatchR system, published by Echad Software, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). Trade and service businesses (“the Business”) use it so their technicians can see assigned jobs, manage customers, create estimates and invoices, record equipment at a service address, take job-site photos, create service reports, and accept in-person card payments. The Business runs the office side in DispatchR Base Ops.

The App has no account system operated by us, and we operate no server that stores your records. A technician either opens an invitation the Business sends through Apple’s iCloud sharing, which gives the technician’s own Apple ID access to the business’s records, or uses a device signed in to the Business’s own Apple ID. Records are stored in Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) and on the device. The Business is the controller of the customer information in the App. Echad Software, LLC does not have access to that information.

2. Information in the app

a) Information the Business and its technicians enter

  • Customer contact details: name, service and billing address, phone, email.
  • Job, estimate, and invoice details: descriptions, line items, prices, scheduling dates, status, and notes.
  • Equipment records: type, manufacturer, model and serial number, year, capacity, refrigerant, electrical ratings, filter size, location on the property, and notes, associated with a service address.
  • Payment records: amount, tip, payment method, the payment processor’s transaction identifier, and receipt and payment links. The App does NOT store full card numbers, card security codes, or bank account numbers (see Section 5).
  • Technician profile: name, employee identifier, phone, and email, entered by the Business.

b) Information the device or the App creates

  • Technician location: if a technician turns on location sharing, the App records the device’s latitude, longitude, and a timestamp about every 5 minutes, including in the background, and stores them in the Business’s iCloud so dispatchers can see where technicians are. Sharing is off until the technician turns it on, can be limited to set days and hours, and can be turned off at any time in the App or in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
  • Photos and files: photos you take or choose, and files you attach, are added to the relevant job or customer. Equipment nameplate text recognition runs entirely on the device using Apple’s Vision framework; the image is not sent to us or to anyone else for that purpose.
  • Service reports: when you share a test report PDF to DispatchD from another app (for example measureQuick), the App reads the report on the device, and you choose the job it belongs to. The App creates a branded report with your notes, and saves the original and the report to that job. Nothing is sent to us.
  • Notifications: when a new job assigned to you arrives through iCloud, the App shows a notification created on the device. The App does not send a notification token to us.
  • A technician PIN, if set, stored only in the device keychain. It unlocks the App on that device and is not sent to us.
  • App preferences and small local state kept in standard iOS storage on the device.

We do NOT collect: advertising identifiers, contacts, browsing history, health or fitness data, or biometric data. The App contains no third-party advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

3. How the information is used

Information in the App is used only to provide the service the Business runs it for: showing technicians their jobs, managing customers and documents, recording equipment, capturing photos and service reports, notifying technicians of new assignments, showing technician location to the Business, and processing payments the customer authorizes. We do not use any of this information for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.

4. Device permissions the app requests

  • Camera: to photograph job sites and equipment data plates.
  • Photo Library: to attach existing photos to a job or equipment record.
  • Location (Always or While Using): for technician location sharing, including in the background when sharing is on, and because Square’s payment software requires location to take card payments. Optional.
  • Bluetooth: to connect to a supported Square card reader.
  • Microphone: only for optional audio-jack card readers, as required by Square’s payment software.
  • Local Network: to receive the Business’s Square credentials in person from DispatchR Base Ops (Section 5).
  • Notifications: to alert the signed-in technician about new job assignments.

Each permission is requested only when first needed and can be changed at any time in iOS Settings. Denying a permission turns off the related feature but otherwise leaves the App usable.

5. Payment processing

Card payments are handled by Square, connected to the Business’s own merchant account. Card data is captured and transmitted by Square’s own software and card reader; Echad Software, LLC and the App never receive the full card number or security code. The App stores only the transaction identifier, the amount, and a receipt link so the payment can be matched with the job. When the device has the Business’s Square credentials, cash and check payments recorded in the App are also recorded in the Business’s Square account (the amount, a note with the document number, and the customer’s Square ID), and the App looks payments up in Square to confirm they were saved. If the Business allows technicians to give refunds, a technician can refund a card payment or reverse a cash or check payment on a job assigned to them; the App then sends Square the payment’s identifier, the amount, and an optional reason, and Square returns card refunds to the original card. The App stores the refund’s identifier, amount, and status, and who made it, so the refund can be matched with the job. Invoices the App sends may include a payment link and QR code that the Business created with Square, Stripe, or PayPal; paying through it happens on that processor’s page.

To take card payments, the device receives the Business’s Square credentials in person from DispatchR Base Ops over a direct, end-to-end encrypted connection, confirmed with a 6-digit code. The credentials are stored only in this device’s keychain.

Square authorization relay: to keep our application’s secret key out of the distributed apps, renewal of the device’s Square access is relayed through a small service operated by Echad Software, LLC and hosted by Cloudflare. The relay passes each request to Square and returns Square’s response unchanged. It does not store Square tokens, customer data, or transaction data.

Payment information is handled under each processor’s own privacy policy:

6. Where data is stored, and who can access it

Records are stored in Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit): in the Business’s iCloud, shared with invited technicians, or in the iCloud of the Apple ID on a company-owned device, and locally on the device. Apple processes and stores this data as an infrastructure provider under Apple’s Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

Access is limited to the Business’s devices and the technicians it invites. When a technician joins through an invitation, Apple shows the Business the technician’s Apple ID name and email as a participant in the share. Echad Software, LLC operates no server that receives or stores your records and cannot see them.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. Information is disclosed only:

  • to the Business and its other invited technicians, through Apple’s iCloud sharing (Section 6);
  • to the payment processor the Business selected, to complete a payment the customer authorizes (Section 5);
  • to Apple, as the iCloud storage provider (Section 6);
  • if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, or property, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the information.

8. Data retention and deletion

Records remain until the Business deletes them or removes the App and its iCloud data. Because the data lives in the Business’s iCloud and on its devices, deletion is controlled by the Business:

  • Delete individual customers, jobs, equipment, photos, or files inside the App.
  • Turn off Demo Data in Settings to remove all sample records.
  • The Business can remove a technician’s access at any time; the shared records then disappear from that technician’s device.
  • Log out, delete the App, and, in iOS Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage, delete the App’s iCloud data to remove everything on that Apple ID.

If you are a customer of a Business that uses DispatchD and want your information corrected or deleted, contact that Business, which controls the record. You may also contact us at support@echadsoftware.com and we will help route the request.

9. Security

Data in transit to iCloud, to Square, and to the Square authorization relay is encrypted, and credentials received from DispatchR Base Ops are end-to-end encrypted. iCloud data is stored under Apple’s security controls. The technician PIN and Square credentials are stored in the iOS keychain on the device. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we and our providers use measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

10. Children

DispatchD is a business tool and is not directed to children. It is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port personal information about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. For records inside DispatchD, the Business that operates the App is the controller; direct requests to that Business. You may also contact us at support@echadsoftware.com and we will assist. PostSchedulR Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 19, 2026

1. Who we are and what this app is

PostSchedulR (“the App”) is a Mac app published by Echad Software, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). It lets you write, schedule, and publish posts to social accounts you connect, such as Bluesky, Mastodon, Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, Threads, Pinterest boards, Google Business Profile, your LinkedIn profile, your YouTube channel (as Shorts), and your TikTok account, read and answer your Google reviews, and keep track of your Yelp reviews. With the optional PostSchedulR Pro add-on, it also lets you review Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads, and Microsoft Advertising campaigns, pause or resume them, schedule budget changes, and create new Meta, Google, and Microsoft ads; send postcards, email campaigns, and text messages to your customers, and order printed business cards and flyers, through services you connect with your own accounts; and compare the results of all of these in one place. You can also bring designs from your Canva account into posts and ads. You can also connect it to an AI app on your Mac, such as Claude, Codex in the ChatGPT app, Gemini CLI, Cursor, VS Code, or LM Studio, so the AI can help you draft posts and suggest ad changes for you to approve.

The App has no account system operated by us, and we operate no server that stores your posts, your customers, or your account information. Your posts, schedules, and settings are stored only on your Mac. Echad Software, LLC does not have access to them.

2. Information in the app

a) Information you enter or create

  • Posts and drafts: the text, images, links, target accounts, scheduled times, and status of each post, and the address of a post once it is published.
  • Images and videos you add to posts or ads, and the business name and logo you enter for a Google Performance Max, Display, or video ad, and the YouTube links you give for a video ad. The App keeps its own copy of post images on your Mac until you delete the post.
  • Ad information (PostSchedulR Pro): the Meta, Google Ads, and Microsoft Advertising accounts you connect (name, account number, currency, and time zone), and the campaign names, budgets, budget changes, ad proposals, ad kits (the material you save to reuse in ads: text, links, keywords, photos, logos, and radio scripts), and notes you or an AI app create in the App. When you choose an area to show a Meta or Google ad in, you can type an address; the App sends it to Apple Maps to find its location, and sends only that location and radius to Meta or Google (see Section 5).
  • Mail, email, text, and print settings (PostSchedulR Pro): the return address printed on your postcards, the sender name and reply-to address for your emails, your Twilio phone number, and the shipping address for a print order.
  • Customer lists you use for a mailing (PostSchedulR Pro): the names and mailing addresses you paste, import from a spreadsheet, or bring in from a connected service for postcards, and the phone numbers for text messages. The App sends them to the service you chose for that mailing (Section 5) and does not keep them afterwards; the activity log records only how many were sent.
  • Jobs spreadsheets you import on the Results screen (date, how the customer found you, and amount). They are used only while the screen is open and are not stored.

b) Information from the services you connect

  • For each account you connect: its name, handle, and identifier; for Facebook, the Pages you manage and any Instagram account linked to them; for Pinterest, your boards; for LinkedIn, your name and member ID; for YouTube, your channel’s name and ID; for TikTok, your username, display name, and account ID, and the account’s current posting settings (who can see your posts, whether comments, Duet, and Stitch are turned off, and the longest video you may post), which the App reads from TikTok when you write a post and again before it posts; and for Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, the accounts you can manage, including those under a manager account you belong to.
  • Ad performance (PostSchedulR Pro): campaign status, budgets, and spend, impressions, clicks, calls, and results such as purchases, leads, sign-ups, bookings, app installs, or conversions, with their reported sales value, which the App reads from Meta, Google Ads, or Microsoft Advertising to show you and, if you ask it to, your AI app. Microsoft provides these totals as a report file, which the App downloads from Microsoft, reads on your Mac, and does not keep. These are totals; the App does not receive information about the individual people who saw or acted on your ads.
  • Local Services leads (PostSchedulR Pro): for Google Local Services ads (“Google Guaranteed”), the calls, messages, and bookings they bring you, with the customer’s name and phone number when Google provides them, the kind of lead, its status, and whether you were charged. The App reads these live from Google to show you and, if you ask it to, your AI app. It does not store them, and they are not written to the activity log.
  • Google reviews: the reviews of your Business Profile locations, with each reviewer’s name as Google shows it, the star rating, the text, and your reply. The App reads them live from Google and does not store them.
  • Yelp reviews: if you add your business’s Yelp page, the App opens that public page in a window on your Mac each time you check it (with Check Yelp Now, or by clicking the daily reminder) and keeps the reviews the page shows: each reviewer’s name as Yelp shows it, the star rating, the text, and the date, plus your page’s overall rating and review count. They are stored only on your Mac and are never sent to us. The App opens Yelp without signing in, in separate browsing storage that is thrown away when the window closes, and never reads Yelp in the background. It does not post anything to Yelp: to answer a review, it copies the reply you write and opens Yelp for Business in your browser, where you post it yourself.
  • Results (PostSchedulR Pro): totals for a date range from the services you connect, such as emails delivered, opened, and clicked (Mailchimp, Brevo), texts sent, delivered, and replied to (Twilio, which reports each message so the App can count them), and postcards mailed (PostGrid, Lob). The App counts these on your Mac, shows the totals, and does not store them. You can save the totals as a spreadsheet.
  • Customer and job lists (PostSchedulR Pro, optional): if you connect Housecall Pro, the App reads your customers (names, service addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses) when you import them for a mailing, and your jobs (date, lead source, and total) for the Results screen. It reads them live and does not store them.
  • Canva (optional): if you connect Canva, the App shows your designs’ names and thumbnails while you browse them, and does not store that list. When you pick a design, the App has Canva export it and saves the images on your Mac as part of that post or ad kit, like any image you add. It never changes or deletes your designs.
  • DispatchR Base Ops (optional): if you also use our app DispatchR Base Ops and turn this on in Accounts, the App reads your Base Ops customers (names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and how they found you), finished jobs, and payments from your own iCloud account (Section 9). It only reads; it never changes your Base Ops data, keeps it only in memory while the App is open, and does not store it.

c) Sign-in credentials and keys

When you connect an account, including Canva, you sign in on that service’s own page (Bluesky uses an app password you create). For services you connect with a key from your own account (PostGrid, Lob, Mailchimp, Brevo, Twilio, Housecall Pro, and Gelato), you paste that key into the App, which checks it with the service before saving it. The resulting access tokens, keys, and your Bluesky app password are stored in your Mac’s keychain, marked to stay on this Mac and not sync to iCloud. They are never sent to us, except as described in Section 4.

d) Local technical data

  • App preferences and small local state kept in standard macOS storage.
  • Notifications: the App’s background scheduler shows notifications created on your Mac, for example when a post is published or fails. No notification token is sent to us.

The App contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We do NOT collect: advertising identifiers, your contacts, location, browsing history, or health, fitness, or biometric data. Customer information you use in the App goes only to the services you choose, as described above, and never to us.

3. How the information is used

Information in the App is used only to do what you ask: to save your drafts, to publish posts to the accounts you choose at the times you choose, to show and change your ads when you approve the change, to send the postcards, emails, texts, and print orders you confirm, to show your results, and to answer your AI app’s requests when you have connected one. We do not use this information for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.

4. The PostSchedulR service on Cloudflare

A few jobs are handled by a small service operated by Echad Software, LLC and hosted by Cloudflare:

  • Sign-in for Meta, Threads, Pinterest, Canva, LinkedIn, and TikTok: to keep our application’s secret keys out of the App, the last step of signing in to Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Canva, LinkedIn, or TikTok goes through this service, and so does renewing a Pinterest, Canva, or TikTok sign-in. It exchanges the service’s one-time sign-in code (or your renewal token) for your access token and returns the token to the App. It does not store or log the tokens.
  • Images for Instagram, Threads, and Google: these services fetch a post’s images from a web address instead of accepting an upload. When you publish an image post to them, the App uploads the image to this service, which holds it at a long, random address that is not listed anywhere. The App deletes the image as soon as the service has copied it, whether or not the post succeeded, and the service deletes any image older than one hour. Only someone signed in to a Meta, Threads, or Google account can upload.
  • Print files for Gelato: Gelato fetches the files it prints from a web address. When you place a print order, the App uploads the print files (your business card or flyer design, as PDF files) to this service, which holds them at a long, random address and deletes them after about a day. Only someone with a working Gelato key can upload.
  • App settings: when the App starts, and every few hours while its scheduler runs, it downloads a small settings file from this service. The file holds only technical settings, such as which version of a network’s programming interface to use, and notices that posting to a network is paused while we fix a problem. The request carries nothing about you, your accounts, or your posts beyond what every web request includes, such as your IP address.

The service does not store your tokens, your post text, your customers, or logs of your posts. Images for Bluesky, Mastodon, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Meta ads are sent directly to those services and do not pass through it, and requests to Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Canva, PostGrid, Lob, Mailchimp, Brevo, Twilio, Housecall Pro, Gelato, YouTube, and TikTok (including your TikTok videos) go directly from your Mac to them.

5. The services you connect

When you publish, the App sends your post (text, images, and links) directly to the service you chose, under your account; on Pinterest, a post becomes a pin on the board you chose, on LinkedIn, a public post on your profile (when a post has a link and no images, the App reads that web page’s title, description, and image, and sends them to LinkedIn to show as the link’s preview), on YouTube, a post’s video becomes a public Short on your channel (uploaded straight from your Mac; the first line of the text is its title), and on TikTok, a post’s video is uploaded straight from your Mac and posted to your account with the text as its caption and the choices you made for that post: who can see it, whether comments, Duet, and Stitch are allowed, and whether it is labeled as promotional content, a paid partnership, or made with AI. When you reply to a Google review, the App sends your reply to Google, which shows it publicly. When you upload a video for a YouTube ad, the App uploads that video to your YouTube channel as unlisted. When you start a new design from the App, it asks Canva to create a blank design in your Canva account and opens it there. For Meta ads, the App sends Meta the changes you approve, such as a new budget or a paused campaign, and the ads you create, including their image, text, link, budget, and area. When you rate a Local Services lead, the App sends Google your rating and any comment you write. For Google Ads, the App sends Google the changes you approve, such as a paused campaign or a new daily budget, and the ads you create, including their headlines, descriptions, website link, keywords, budget, dates, and area. For a Performance Max or Display ad, it also sends your business name, your logo, and the photos you choose; the App crops them on your Mac before sending. For a video ad, it sends your business name, logo, and the YouTube videos you chose, by their YouTube video IDs. For Microsoft Advertising, the App sends Microsoft the changes you approve, such as a paused campaign or a new daily budget, and the Search ads you create, including their headlines, descriptions, website link, keywords, budget, dates, and area.

When you send a mailing (PostSchedulR Pro), the App sends the service you chose what it needs to deliver it, under your account and billed by that service: to PostGrid or Lob, your postcard design and return address and each recipient’s name and mailing address; to Mailchimp or Brevo, your email’s content and images (Mailchimp only) and the list you chose, which stays in your Mailchimp or Brevo account; to Twilio, your message and each recipient’s phone number, sent one by one; and to Gelato, your print files and the shipping name, address, email, and phone number for the order. Before a text message goes out, the App asks you to confirm that the people on your list agreed to get texts, and adds a line telling them how to opt out. Once a post, ad, or mailing reaches a service, it is handled under that service’s own privacy policy:

6. AI apps

Connecting an AI app is optional. If you add PostSchedulR to an AI app on your Mac (such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, VS Code, or LM Studio), that app starts a small helper program inside the App on your Mac. When you ask the AI to, the helper can read and change your drafts and schedule, read your connected accounts, ad campaigns, ad kits, and results, read your Google Local Services leads (including customer names and phone numbers), your Google reviews, and the Yelp reviews the App has kept (including reviewers’ names), add an image from your Pictures or Downloads folder to a draft, and propose ad changes. It cannot send postcards, emails, texts, or print orders, reply to reviews, or read your DispatchR Base Ops data. The AI can create, schedule, and publish posts when you ask it to, unless you turn on Approve AI posts in Settings, which makes them wait for you. Ad changes and new ads it proposes always wait for your approval in the App.

The App also has a prompt bar along the bottom of its window. On a Mac with Apple Intelligence turned on, it can answer using Apple’s on-device model: your prompt, and the accounts, posts, and reviews it looks up to answer, are processed on your Mac and are not sent to us, to Apple, or to anyone else. It can save drafts but cannot publish or schedule anything. If you choose to send a prompt to a connected AI app instead, the App copies the prompt and opens that app, or opens that app’s website with the prompt filled in; what you send is then handled by that app’s maker, as described next. To offer those apps in the prompt bar, the App records on your Mac the name of each AI app that connects to it and when it last did.

What the helper gives the AI becomes part of your conversation with it and is handled by that AI app’s maker under its own terms and privacy policy, for example Anthropic for Claude (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy), OpenAI for ChatGPT and Codex (https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/), or Google for Gemini (https://policies.google.com/privacy). If the app runs a model on your Mac, such as LM Studio, it stays on your Mac. We do not receive it.

7. Purchases

PostSchedulR Pro is bought through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles the payment. The App receives only Apple’s confirmation of what you bought, so it can turn on the features. We never receive your payment details. Postcards, emails, texts, and print orders are paid to those services under your own account with them; the App never handles that payment either.

8. Device permissions

  • Files and folders: the App reads only the images, videos, and spreadsheets you choose in an Open dialog, and writes only the files you save, such as a results spreadsheet. If you connect an AI app, the helper can also read images in your Pictures and Downloads folders when the AI asks for one.
  • iCloud (optional): if you turn on DispatchR Base Ops in Accounts, the App reads your Base Ops data from your iCloud account. Read only.
  • Notifications: to tell you when a scheduled post is published or needs attention, and for the daily reminder to check your Yelp reviews. They are created on your Mac; no push token is sent anywhere. Optional.
  • Login item: to publish scheduled posts while the main window is closed, the App adds a background scheduler, which you can turn off in System Settings > General > Login Items. While a post is due, it keeps your Mac from going to sleep, then lets it sleep again.
  • Network access: to reach the services you connect, Apple Maps, YouTube (for video thumbnails), your Yelp page (when you check it), the web pages you link to in LinkedIn posts (to build their previews), iCloud (only for DispatchR Base Ops), and the PostSchedulR service on Cloudflare (Section 4).

Denying a permission turns off the related feature but otherwise leaves the App usable.

9. Where data is stored, and who can access it

Your posts, schedule, ad records, and settings are stored in the App’s own storage on your Mac and are not synced to iCloud or to us. Sign-in credentials and keys are stored in your Mac’s keychain. If you turn on DispatchR Base Ops, the App reads that app’s data from your own iCloud account, where Base Ops keeps it, using Apple’s iCloud; that data stays in your iCloud account and is not copied into the App’s storage. Anyone who can use your Mac account can open the App. Published posts and ads are public, or visible to the audience you chose, on the services you published them to.

10. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. Information leaves your Mac only:

  • to the services you connect, to publish posts, reply to reviews, upload videos, make the ad changes you approve, and send the postcards, emails, texts, and print orders you confirm (Section 5);
  • to the PostSchedulR service on Cloudflare, for Meta, Threads, Pinterest, Canva, LinkedIn, and TikTok sign-in, brief image hosting, print files, and downloading the App’s settings (Section 4);
  • to Apple Maps, for addresses you type for ad areas; to YouTube, when the App loads thumbnails for video links you add; and to Yelp, as an ordinary website visit, when you check your Yelp page (Section 5);
  • to the AI app you connect, if you ask it to work with your posts, ads, or results (Section 6);
  • if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, or property, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the information.

11. Data retention and deletion

Your information stays on your Mac until you delete it:

  • Delete individual drafts, posts, ad proposals, or ad kits inside the App. Deleting a post in the App does not remove a post that is already published; delete that on the service itself.
  • Remove a connected account, ad account, or service in the App to delete its stored credentials or key from the keychain. You can also remove PostSchedulR’s access in that service’s own settings.
  • Postcards, emails, texts, and print orders you send, and the recipients’ details sent with them, are kept by the service that delivered them under its own policy, in your account with that service; manage or delete them there.
  • Remove a Yelp page in Reviews to delete the Yelp reviews the App kept for it.
  • Turn off DispatchR Base Ops in Accounts to stop the App reading it.
  • Remove PostSchedulR from your AI app’s settings to stop it using PostSchedulR.
  • Delete the App to remove its data from your Mac.

Images on the PostSchedulR service on Cloudflare are deleted as soon as the service you posted to has copied them, and in any case within about an hour; print files are deleted after about a day.

12. Security

Connections to the services you connect, to Apple, and to the PostSchedulR service on Cloudflare are encrypted. Credentials and keys are kept in the macOS keychain, available only on this Mac. The App runs in Apple’s App Sandbox. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we and our providers use measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

13. Children

PostSchedulR is not directed to children, is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port personal information about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because your information is stored on your Mac and with the services you connect, you can manage most of it yourself as described in Section 11. If you use the App to contact your own customers, you are responsible for having their permission where the law requires it, for example to send them marketing texts or emails. You may also contact us at support@echadsoftware.com and we will assist. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

15. International users

The PostSchedulR service runs on Cloudflare’s network, which may process requests in the United States and other countries. The services you connect may also process your information in other countries under their own policies.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change and, for material changes, we will give notice through the App or its App Store listing. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
